【Jun. 9】 Prof. Tsujinaka gives a lecture and is appointed Visiting Professor at Southwest University in Chongqing, China

On June 9th, the ICR Director, Prof. Yutaka Tsujinaka gave a lecture and was appointed Visiting Professor at the subsequent Appointment Ceremony held at Southwest University, Chongqing, China.

The title of the lecture was “International Japanese Studies as Innovation of Research in Humanities and Social Sciences: Local Governance in Japan and Asia”.  The lecture was given in Japanese. It was translated into Chinese by lecturer Liu Wei from Southwest University.  Lecturer Liu Wei has a doctoral degree in social sciences from the University of Tsukuba (2016).

There were about 80 people present, such as teachers of administrative management, political science and Japanese research field, as well as graduate and undergraduate students of Southwest University.

A lively question and answer session followed the one and a half hour lecture.

Prof. Tsujinaka was appointed as a visiting (guest seat) professor at Southwest University and an appointment ceremony and commemorative photo shoot was also held.
