On August 31, University of Ljubljana & University of Tsukuba Japanese Research Forum was held, celebrating the anniversary of the founding of Japanese center at University of Ljubljana & ICR at University of Tsukuba.
In the beginning of the conference, Professor Andrej Bekes from University of Ljubljana (former professor at University of Tsukuba) gave an announcement that Japanese Center would launch officially on October. After that Shigemi Joumori the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Slovenia gave a speech saying “Both universities have a deep alliance and expecting Japanese Center and ICR’s further development.” Our ICR chairman Professor Tsujinaka gave a lecture for 45 minutes and question and answer for 20 minutes.
