On February 9, the guest speaker Professor Beata Bochorodycz (Visiting Foreign Research Fellow at University of Yokohama) and gave a lecture on “Deployment of the Anti-nuclear Movement after 3.11”.
She has been joining events and doing extensive field works including observation as well as talking to many attendants. Her experience was the outline of the lecture. Furthermore we talked about the generation gaps (70s, 90s, 21st) of anti-nuclear movements and new movements using SNS, attribute of main organizations and relations between many different organizations, politicians who try to put the movement into their process of politics, relations between political parties and administrative and so on. We were able to listen to a great lecture from both political and social science point of views and had a long debate.
