1965 Born in Kanagawa, graduated from Aoyama University, faculty of International Economics. MD Taiwan University (politics) and Soul University (politics) and Ph.D. Sinological Institute, (philosophy). Lecturer at Leiden University, assistant professor at Taiwan University and now professor of philosophy at Taiwan University. The main research theme is Chinese ancient philosophy, especially on Xunzi Reiji’s political philosophy and ancient political philosophy. Also speciall interested in research history of Chinese philosophy.
